Enterosgel 225g
ENTEROSGEL® is a tasteless oral gel for acute diarrhoea and IBS-D symptoms. It works physically in the gut without being absorbed into the body, and its effectiveness is supported by clinical research.
How it works
In the gut, ENTEROSGEL® provides a large porous surface for physical adsorption of particles within a certain size range, targeting particles associated with diarrhoea. It is not absorbed into the bloodstream, works locally in the gut and is passed out with the stool. It is not an antibiotic, probiotic or antimotility medicine.
- Not absorbed: works locally in the gut.
- Suitable for the family: can be used by adults and children, and during pregnancy or breastfeeding when used as directed.
- Easy to take: a tasteless gel mixed with water.
- Science-backed: supported by published studies in acute diarrhoea, IBS-D and paediatric diarrhoea.
Directions
- Shake the tube well before opening and before each use.
- Adults: mix a tablespoon of ENTEROSGEL® in 200 mL of room-temperature water and swallow. Take a dose after the first loose stool, 3 doses per day.
- Acute diarrhoea: 3 to 5 days. IBS-D: up to 30 days, with a break of at least 3 days before another course.
- Take at least 2 hours before or after oral medicines, and 1 to 2 hours before or after food. Do not use with modified-release oral medicines.
- Consult a doctor before use in children under 3 years.
